“Don’t you dare come near me! I hate you! I hate you with every single fiber of my whole being!” She said, her voice shaking at the edge of it. She stepped back. Her eyes were glassy, like she was holding back her tears, not wanting to let them show her weakness.

He stood there with a smirk, like her tears, her opinion, or her wishes didn’t matter. Like it was just him who could control or choose whatever he wanted. “Little bird, you are overreacting. I didn’t even do anything. I think you forgot that you can’t win against me. So stop running, because the more you run, the more fun it will be to cage you.” His voice was as cold and scary as ever.

“No! I won’t do what you want. I can’t do this… Please, let me go… Please.” She dropped to her knees, like she had lost all her hope of arguing further, like she had reached her breaking point.

“Little bird, I’m just asking you to marry me, and I’m being nice with you. Don’t force me to drag you to the pavilion and force the marriage on you.” His calm voice turned a bit firm.

She looked at the man in front of her, who was trying to force a marriage on her, and she couldn’t do anything. She felt helpless. “Please stop… If bhai finds out about this, he will bury you in the earth.” It was a last try to make him step back.

But instead of stepping back, He leaned closer and tilted her chin with his index finger. “He won’t. Because by the time he finds out about this, you will already be mine. My wife. And I don’t think he will touch his own sister’s husband… After all, if anything happens to me, you will be a widow.” His voice was calm, like nothing could scare him, which was true.

She looked at him with true hatred. “You know… I have always been the one who spreads love, warmth, and kindness, but what you did to me, or what you are really doing to me right now… I hate you. You are the first person I have ever hated so much.” She said it with hatred obvious through her tone.

But that didn’t affect Him even a little, like he couldn’t care less about her feelings right now. “You think I give a damn about what you feel, little bird? Go and arrange the pavilion. I’ve had enough of her. Now it’s action time.” He barked an order at his men.

Her face turned scared… She was always the one who cared for everyone, the kind soul, but right now she wished really hard that she had never fallen into his trap. She believed him, and that was the biggest mistake she had ever made.

“Please… Please, I beg you… I don’t want to marry you… Why are you doing all this? You say you love me—” her words were cut off by him.

“No. I don’t love you. I’m obsessed with you. I just want to make sure you are always by my side, or caged in my prison. I don’t care… Because I’ve become mad over you. You can call it my madding love.” his tone was straight and clear. He didn’t chase love; he chased obsession.

She just cried, the best thing she could ever do. Always so fragile, always so sensitive, even she got hurt by overthinking everything. So whenever anything happened, she ended up crying. It didn’t matter if it was actually her fault or not.

He cupped her face and wiped away her tears gently this time. “Little bird… don’t cry. These tears of yours hurt me.” She could never understand this man. One moment, he was all angry and rude, and the next moment he got all kind and soft. It's really confusing sometimes to know what he actually is.

He kissed her forehead and said in a soft voice, “I can’t let you go. You have become oxygen to me. If I don’t see you, I wouldn’t breathe. Try to understand, little bird. Just give in already, because I will not set you free.” His words were clear. He wouldn’t let her go.

She pushed him away and said, “I don’t care what you want, because you can have me, my body, everything you want by force, but never my heart.” She said it harshly.

“No… I won’t force you. This marriage is the last thing I’m forcing. After this, I will never force you, little bird.” His words were true.

When a hero falls for someone, he protects her and makes sure she is safe…

But when a villain falls for someone, he doesn’t just protect her; he also makes sure no one even raises an eye at her.
